GORDON E. HUXTED... As told by him to Liz Walker

Gordon worked for Shorts from January 1940 until 25th. April 1947 at which time he was made redundant as the factory moved to Belfast. He worked as a fitter in No.18 Shop on the Esplanade doing the decks on the Sunderland flying boat and making ‘skeleton’ tank lids.
