Singapore Hever Castle

This story and photos details an incident which occurred on 2nd September 1935 when a Shore Singapore III flying boat had to force land on the ornamental lake at Hever Castle, Edenbridge. Short Brothers Chief Test Pilot John Lankester Parker was sent to the rescue to fly the aircraft off the lake once repairs had been made.
